Books for Change
The Lesbian Herstory Archives traditionally holds Book “Sales” that are open to the public twice annually. Book “Sales” take place during Brooklyn Pride, usually during a weekend in June and at the end of the year as a final push for end-of-the-year fundraising.
Books chosen are those for which we already have multiple copies—one on the shelf, another in storage. We accept small donations for these titles and offer a great opportunity to visit the space, find a good read, meet other community members, and support LHA’s work.
